The textile industry in our country is one of the most rapidly developing industries, the products of which today attract more and more attention from foreign entrepreneurs.

Over the years of independence, about two billion US dollars have been invested in the textile industry of Turkmenistan, thanks to which large textile complexes, cotton spinning and weaving industries, clothing factories, silk-winding enterprises, shoe factories, factories for the primary processing of leather and wool are successfully operating today.

High-tech equipment purchased from Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Japan, Belgium and other leading countries in this field are the latest and most versatile models in the world of textiles.

Domestic products pass a mandatory series of certifications: ISO 9001 “Production Management and Quality Control System”, ISO 14001 “Environmental Protection”, OHSAS 18001 “Occupational Health and Safety” and SA 8000, as well as the “OEKOTEX STANDARD 100” certificate confirming safety and the absence of harmful chemicals at any stage of the production process, which is an additional indicator of product quality.

About eighty percent of manufactured products are currently exported to the CIS countries, Europe, Asia, as well as other countries of the world. Georgia, Turkey, Iran, United Arab Emirates, Russian Federation, China, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan are the main business partners of Turkmenistan in the textile industry. Export deliveries for 2022 are carried out in 20 countries of the world.

Until 2025, it is planned to invest more than 300 million US dollars for the implementation of 30 projects in the textile industry.
